Spokesman Ayman Taha said the Hamas jordan air yeezy government was trying to maintain calm in Gaza for "the national interest". He spoke hours after Israeli planes carried out bombing raids on what it said were weapons factories in Gaza. Hamas PM Ismail Haniya also urged air jordan 10 the international community to intervene to avoid an escalation in violence. "We are contacting the other Palestinian factions in order to reach an internal consensus as to the measures we may take in order to protect our people and strengthen our unity," Mr Haniya said. Four of the strikes took place near the town of Khan Younis, where two Israeli soldiers and two Palestinian fighters were killed in clashes last week. Three children were reportedly injured in the Israeli strikes. The latest violence is the most serious since the end of Israel's assault on Gaza in January 2009. Palestinians and rights groups say more than 1,400 Gazans died in the conflict, while Israel puts the figure at 1,166. Thirteen Israelis, including three civilians, were killed. Israel says there have been at least 20 rocket or mortar attacks in the past month that have landed on its territory, one of which killed a farm worker. Mr Taha told the BBC on Friday: "The government in Gaza is in charge of the situation, and it does know clearly who launches rockets. "It is working hard to deter any faction from acting individually." In a statement released to the BBC, the Israeli military said Israel would "not tolerate terroristic activity inside Gaza that threatens Israeli citizens". Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom told public radio: "If this rocket fire against Israel does not stop, it seems we will have to raise the level of our activity and step up our actions against Hamas." Correspondents say this kind of rhetoric has been heard in the past and should not be taken as a cue for imminent military action. But tension is growing between Israel and Hamas, and some analysts view wider operations against Hamas as inevitable. Palestinian news agencies reported that Israeli aircraft dropped leaflets over parts of Gaza on Thursday warning residents of retaliation for the killings of the soldiers in Khan Younis. They were the first Israeli soldiers to be killed in hostile fire in Gaza in over a year. The military wing of Hamas claimed responsibility for those attacks. Over roughly the same period, about 90 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed in a mixture of Israeli military operations and border clashes, according to the UN. Tensions in the region are running high after a recent Israeli government announcement of plans to build 1,600 new homes for Jewish people in East Jerusalem, which the Palestinians want as a capital of a future state. In December 2008, the Israeli armed forces launched a 22-day offensive in the Gaza Strip, bombing Palestinian cities before sending in ground troops - in response, Israel said, to Hamas rocket attacks on southern Israel. After this, Hamas launched its rockets in increased numbers at Israeli towns near the Gaza Strip, before agreeing to a ceasefire. The BBC's Jon Donnison in Jerusalem air jordan 17 says that Hamas has tried to rein in rocket fire from Gaza, and that there has been a reduction in attacks in the past year. air yeezy shoes jordan 1 flight wholesale clothing brands jordan 12s
One of the suicide bombers from each of the Moscow and Dagestani blasts has been identified, local media reported on Thursday. A female suicide bomber who blew herself up jordan air yeezy at Moscow's downtown Cultural Park metro station on Monday has been identified as a resident of the restive North Caucasus republic of Dagestan, said an anonymous source in the North Caucasus Federal District security service. The bomber's name was not revealed to air jordan 10 safeguard the ongoing investigation, said the source as reported by the RIA Novosti news agency. Both female suicide bombers in the Moscow attack had been confirmed as being linked to groups in the North Caucasus. The identity of the other female suspect remained undisclosed. Meanwhile, the Interfax news agency says the Russian Interior Ministry has identified one of the suicide bombers responsible for Wednesday's twin blasts in the Dagestani town of Kizlyar as a local resident named Daud Magomedov, or Daud Jabrailov. "According to the preliminary information, local resident Daud Jabrailov dressed in a police uniform and set off the bomb. He was identified by body fragments," said an official from the Dagestani department of the Investigative Committee of Russian Prosecutor General's Office, Nizami Rajabov. The second suicide bomber has also yet to be identified. On Monday, two female suicide bombers killed 39 in attacks on the Moscow subway system. On Wednesday, 12 people, including nine police officers, were killed in two blasts in the Dagestani town of Kizlyar. Russia's North Caucasus republics, particularly Chechnya, Dagestan and Ingushetia, have been plagued by violence, particularly against law enforcement officers, which local rebels see as representing the Russian authorities. MOSCOW, April 1 (Xinhua) -- Russian President Dmitry Medvedev made a surprise visit Thursday to the restive North Caucasus republic of Dagestan promising a tough response to recent terrorist attacks emanating from the region. The president, who arrived at the regional capital of Makhachkala by helicopter, chaired a meeting of the heads of North Caucasian republics and territorial units of the Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Interior Ministry. BEIJING, April 1 (Xinhuanet) -- The once-terrifying "Black Widows" seem to have come back again, and police in Russia were hunting after them. Reporting from Los Angeles and New York – Flooding jordan 1 flight caused by record rainfall over the Northeast on Wednesday washed out bridges in Connecticut and Massachusetts, disrupted travel across wholesale clothing brands the region as some rivers reached their highest levels ever and prompted Rhode Island officials to temporarily close state offices. The flooding in Rhode Island was the state's worst in 100 years, said Marcie Katcher of the National Weather Service. The Pawtuxet River crested at a record 20.7 feet Wednesday afternoon, shattering the previous mark of 14.9 feet on March 15. Floodwaters spilled across the communities of Cranston, Warwick and West Warwick. In Warwick, water came close to covering cars in the parking lot of the 70-store Warwick Mall. A small boat motored through the water to pick up a mall security guard who had failed to leave earlier. Ducks paddled serenely along streets that were under 2 feet of water. Although the storm drifted eastward and dry weather was forecast for the next few days, water trickling down from higher elevations kept rivers swollen. Flooding remained a problem. Joe Macomber, 27, of Warwick said parking lots near his apartment on the Pawtuxet River looked "like the ocean. . . . You could have gotten swept away." Overnight Tuesday, the Pawtuxet River flooded onto Interstate 95, defeating sand-bagging efforts and forcing closures of sections of the highway. No deaths were reported from the rain, which set records in several cities for the month of March. Providence, R.I., measured nearly 15 inches; Boston had nearly 14 inches; New York City's Central Park had more than 10.5 inches. "Nothing we can do with Mother Nature. Nothing we can do," said Maria Rivera of Clinton, Mass., along the Nashua River, where National Guard troops were deployed earlier in the week to fill sandbags. More than 900 Guard troops were deployed in Massachusetts, and several hundred more fanned out across Connecticut and Rhode Island. The southeastern Connecticut town of Stonington, along the Pawcatuck River, lost two of its three bridges, and a bridge also gave out in Freetown, Mass. Officials evacuated hundreds of people from Coventry, R.I., where another bridge was threatened. There were fears that a collapse of the bridge or of buildings at either end of it could send debris washing downstream into homes. At one point during the storm, about 10,000 Rhode jordan 12s Island customers were without power, said David Graves, a spokesman for National Grid, the primary power and gas company in New England. "I … made a mistake in thinking that air jordan 10 there was a possibility with Jesse, when there wasn't," says Daguerre, 42, a former model and now a vintage clothing store owner. "But I didn't do anything that bad, because as soon as I felt that something wasn't right, I stayed jordan air yeezy home. That is why I get mad when people call me a home wrecker: I had no idea of what the full story was with him." But despite lucrative offers from the tabloids, she won't get into specifics about their relationship. "I am a tomboy. I like motorcycles and cars, and we bonded over that," she says. "I get really upset when I read the headline 'mistress.' I was not his mistress. Jesse was never my boyfriend. There was no love. It was mostly friendship, or at least that is how it started: palling around and talking motorcycles." Their relationship started around the end of 2008, and, "Whatever happened between us, happened, and it should remain private," she says, adding that it ended at the latter part of last year. "This is just a series of unfortunate events. I don't have any grudge against Jesse. I have never been angry or pissed off or anything. I don't know how I ended up here. I don't regret his friendship." But Daguerre does make clear what they had involved more than just talking about motorcycles. "When you first meet someone and are attracted to them, you obviously hope that either something will change about how you feel, or you will grow into something, or maybe there is an opportunity for something," she says. "You just try to feel it out, and try to get a vibe and feel it out. That was us. I only went down to his shop a few times and it didn’t take me long to realize that something didn’t feel right to me and that it was time to stop hanging out with this guy." During this time, she says, "He never mentioned his wife to me. We weren't in a quote unquote relationship. I wasn’t in love with him." She says his marriage air jordan 20 is "his responsibility," but adds, "I honestly wasn’t sure [if he was married]. I didn’t know. If I had known, things would have been very different. The blue-gray vein of granite that jordan 11 for sale courses through northeastern Georgia spawned jobs in the quarries and finishing sheds of Elberton, where generations of stonecutters have air jordan 20 turned slabs of rock the size of refrigerators into statues, tombstones and tile. And one day, it brought a visitor who gifted the town with a landmark that leaves visitors scratching their heads decades later. The nearly 20-foot high series of granite slabs known as the Georgia Guidestones are inscribed with a series of admonitions for a future "Age of Reason." Billed as "America's Stonehenge," it's an astronomically complex, 120-ton relic of Cold War fears, built to instruct survivors of an Armageddon that the mystery man feared was all too near. The identity of the man who called himself "R.C. Christian" is a secret that Wyatt Martin, the banker who acted as his agent in Elberton, vows to take to his grave. "He told me, 'If you were to tell who put the money up for this, it wouldn't be a mystery any more, and no one would come and read it.' That had to be part of the attraction, to get people to come and read his 10 rules that he came up with," Martin said. People in Elberton, about 100 miles east of Atlanta, are proud of their eccentric landmark. But 30 years after its dedication, it has drawn the attention of a new generation of questions how useful the Guidestones would be to survivors of civilization-ending cataclysm. The devices incorporated into the stones are "relatively easy stuff" that most human societies have developed early in their histories, he said. "Don't get me wrong. As a monument, it's fine. There's nothing wrong with doing that," Magnani told CNN. But he added, "Every decent civilization going back to a couple of millennia before Christ has figured this out. How to make gasoline? Now that would be useful." But it's the written messages of the Guidestones that have drawn the most criticism. Most are innocuous, calling on readers to rule their passions with "tempered reason," avoid "petty laws and useless officials" and "prize truth, beauty, love ... seeking harmony with the infinite." They end with the advice, "Be not a cancer on the Earth -- leave room for nature." But the first two -- which call for limiting human population to half a billion, less than 10 percent of today's numbers, and guiding reproduction "wisely" -- have led some to call the Guidestones a call to genocide and the "Ten Commandments of the Antichrist." In recent years, the monument has been hit by vandals who see in it the creed of a shadowy "New World Order" bent on subjugating humanity. It has been tagged at least three times since 2008, leaving scrawls of "God is stronger than the NWO," vague threats of destruction and various crudities across the granite. "The worst was they put a two-part epoxy over two faces," said Mart Clamp, whose father helped carve the stones. "You just can't pressure-wash it off, you have to get in there with a hammer-type tool and beat it off." Christian left behind a 1986 book, "Common Sense Renewed," that is still for sale at the Elberton Granite Museum. Many of the concerns he lists in it wouldn't be out of place at a modern Republican gathering: growing entitlement spending, stifling regulation, the breakdown of the traditional family. But he also warned that the world's problems were symptoms of overpopulation, turning civilization as we knew into an "atomic tinderbox," and requiring some limited form of world government to save mankind from annihilation, he concluded. It is that kind of talk that disturbs people like Van Smith, who has written extensively about the Guidestones on his Web site. Contacted at his home in Arkansas, said the future that Christian describes in his book "is totalitarian." "It's Platonic in many ways, but it's extremely oppressive," Smith said. And he says encoded within the dimensions of the stones is the height in feet of Dubai's Burj Khalifa, now the world's tallest building. To him, that suggests the builders knew of plans to build a new Tower of Babel, ushering in "the dawning of a new era in which man can become God." "I'm not a conspiracy lunatic who spends all my time researching Freemasonry and things like that," said Smith, a computer industry analyst. But he told CNN, "This evidence is extremely real, and it's disturbing." The locals don't buy it. "I know the men who put this up, and they were all good men," said Clamp, who is working to clean up the stones ahead of their anniversary. "My father was one of those men. If this had been anything satanic or demonic, they jordan air yeezy never would have had anything to do with it." Brooks said that most in Elberton view the stones as "a work of art" that draws tourists, and "we don't get wrapped up so much in what they say." air jordan 10 air jordan 17 air yeezy shoes jordan 1 flight
A serious rift in relations between Britain and air jordan 10 Israel opened yesterday after a criminal investigation uncovered “compelling” evidence that Jerusalem had cloned the UK passports used in the assassination of a senior Hamas operative in Dubai. Britain responded by expelling a senior air jordan 17 Israeli diplomat, believed to be the Mossad station chief in London; imposing new travel advice, warning Britons of the threat of state-sponsored identity theft in Israel; and demanding a public assurance that Israel would never misuse British passports again. Israel’s Ambassador expressed his disappointment but said he was determined to “strengthen the firm foundations” of the relationship between Britain and Israel. The froideur only increased, however, when it emerged that David Miliband, the Foreign Secretary, had cancelled his scheduled attendance at a reception marking the renovation of the Israeli Embassy yesterday. Instead, Mr Miliband told the Commons of the conclusion of the investigation by the Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca) and denounced Israel’s behaviour as “intolerable” and displaying a “profound disregard for the sovereignty of the United Kingdom”. “The fact that this was done by a country which is a friend, with significant diplomatic, cultural, business and personal ties to the UK, only adds insult to injury,” he added. He said he had demanded a formal assurance that the fraud would not recur from Avigdor Liebermann, the Israeli Foreign Minister. The travel advice to be issued to British citizens would depend on the answer that he received. Diplomatic sources told The Times that the assurance would have to be public — in effect, forcing Israel to admit its involvement in the fraud and, by implication, in the assassination of Mahmud al-Mabhuh on January 19. Suspicions fell on Israel’s intelligence agency immediately after the killing, but they were reinforced when it emerged that all of the Western passport holders whose identities were used were also Israeli nationals. Mr Miliband said that Soca investigation had lead directly back to Israel and that no other country appeared to have been involved. “Given that this was a very sophisticated operation, in which high-quality forgeries were made, the Government judges it is highly likely that the forgeries were made by a state intelligence service,” he said. “Taking this, together with other inquiries, we have concluded that there are compelling reasons to believe that Israel was responsible for the misuse of the British passports.” The passports of Irish, German, French and Australian citizens were also used but those countries are yet to conclude their investigations. Israel said that it regretted the British move to air yeezy shoes expel the Mossad representative but, while the Government in Jerusalem was measured in its response, , MPs from the far Right denounced the British as untrustworthy “dogs”. jordan 1 flight air jordan 7 wholesale clothing brands Puma shoes
"The housing-finance system cannot continue to operate as it has in the jordan air yeezy past," Mr. Geithner says in prepared testimony. The administration won't issue a detailed overhaul proposal until later this year. The hearing comes as Congress turns up the pressure on the administration air jordan 10 to discuss how it plans to rebuild the mortgage market, the recipient of massive government support since the credit crunch began more than two years ago. "We need people to start focusing on it. Nobody was coming up doing the hard thinking,'' said Rep. Barney Frank (D., Mass.), who said he called the hearing to accelerate debate on the future of Fannie and Freddie. The government took control of Fannie and Freddie through a legal process known as conservatorship 18 months ago. It has injected $127 billion to keep the companies afloat and pledged unlimited bailout aid over the next three years. In testimony, Mr. Geithner will defend the administration's actions to shore up the companies as "unfortunate and undesirable" but nevertheless necessary to offset a "much more wrenching decline in housing prices." Republicans, meanwhile, are renewing calls for the government to move toward privatizing the companies. Their proposal calls for a housing-finance system "in which private capital is the primary source of mortgage financing" and recommends winding down the current operations of Fannie and Freddie over the next four years. Fannie and Freddie, together with the Federal Housing Administration, now back more than 9 in 10 home loans. "They've allowed this monster to kind of burn out of control,'' says Anthony Sanders, a real-estate finance professor at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., who supports privatization But industry analysts say that at some point, delaying action could breed uncertainty that could be equally troublesome for markets.
